A Blade Server is nothing more than a simple motherboard unit without any other excess computer part. It is a complete computer on just circuit board the size of an average motherboard. Colocation America Donates Server to CentOS to Aid Development

Colocation America, a colocation provider, has recently donated one of their premier dedicated servers to CentOS, a Linux distribution which is derived from freely provided public sources. The CentOS development team took possession of a premier dedicated server which will aid their efforts and boost their development. This donated dedicated server will allow CentOS to distribute updates to their clients directly and quickly via yum, facilitate distribution of the CentOS tree to external public mirrors.
